During this week’s episode of UFC Tonight on FUEL TV, it was announced Terry Etim has suffered an undisclosed injury that will force the lightweight out of his “UFC on FOX: Shogun vs. Vera” shootout against Joe Lauzon. This marks the second time their tango has been nixed because of the Brit. The 155-pounders were initially slated to meet at UFC 118, but Etim had to withdraw with a rib injury. The UFC is currently scouring their roster for a suitable substitute to meet Lauzon in the August 4th show. Lauzon was last seen being put to sleep by Anthony Pettis at UFC 144. J-Lau has only won five of his last nine scraps. Staples Center in Los Angeles, California hosts the bash. FOX will broadcast the main card live at 8PM ET/5PM PT. Here is the event’s revised roster:
Preliminary Card: Josh Grispi vs. Pablo Garza Nam Phan vs. Cole Miller Michihiro Omigawa vs. Manny Gamburyan Oli Thompson vs. Phil De Fries Phil Davis vs. Wagner Prado Mike Swick vs. DaMarques Johnson Matt Mitrione vs. Rob Broughton Main Card: (FOX 8PM ET/5PM PT) Joe Lauzon vs. TBD Travis Browne vs. Ben Rothwell Lyoto Machida vs. Ryan Bader Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Brandon Vera
