According to Aaron Wilson, the Texans waived undrafted K Chris Freeman on Friday.  Freeman began his career at Indiana and took over as the team’s full-time kicker in his fourth season.  From there, he transferred to Uconn and spent two seasons with the Huskies.

The Houston Texans are making a signing at kicker. According to the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan M. Alexander, the Texans are bringing in rookie kicker Chris Freeman to their 90-man roster.

The Houston Texans are signing rookie K Chris Freeman to a contract on Monday, according to Aaron Wilson. Freeman recently tried out with the team.  Wilson adds that the idea is not to overwork K Ka’imi Fairbairn during the preseason.
