The New York Mets aired one of the Minnesota Twins' best-kept secrets and it had nothing to do with the Twins' 5-2 victory on Friday night.

That's because the SNY broadcast decided to show the entrance of Twins closer Jhoan Duran and gave it the full-blown Edwin Diaz experience.

Duran's entrance begins with the lights going out at Target Field and the signature bell toll of WWE legend The Undertaker. With the lights flashing and the video boards turning into flames, Duran hits the field with the sounds of "El Incrompendido" by Farruko and "Hot" by Daddy Yankee & Pitbull blasting over the speakers and the Twins' closer goes into his routine of pumping 100-mph fastballs past Mets hitters.

"Fire [is] an apt thing to bring Duran in with," SNY play-by-play announcer Steve Gelbs said citing his 101.8 mph average fastball.

The presentation of Duran's entrance has been nothing new because the Twins have done this all season long. But the decision to broadcast Duran's entrance is different and is one difference that SNY displays over Bally's Sports North as they have broadcast Diaz's iconic entrance each time he takes the field.

Diaz has missed the entire 2023 season after sustaining a knee injury in last spring's World Baseball Classic, so maybe SNY was just getting their fix.

Either way, it appears that the Twins have given Duran one of the best closer entrances in baseball and it's starting to get noticed.
