Hoosiers in the NFL: Week 2 results

The 2025 NFL season is underway, and six former Hoosiers saw the field in week two. Here’s a quick overview of how they performed. Cam Jones – New York Jets Jones played 20 special teams snaps in week two on four different units.  He had a tackle and earned a good special teams grade on PFF.

Former IU football teammates reunited on New York Jets

The New York Jets picked up Cam Jones off the NFL’s waiver wire this week, resulting in a third of the franchise’s linebackers being former Hoosiers. The move reunited Jones with his former IU football teammate Marcelino McCrary-Ball, who was named a captain of the Jets this week.
