The Milwaukee Brewers are coming off a failed bid to win a World Series crown in the 2025 MLB season, but they can still feel good about the campaign they just put together. The Brewers topped the National League Central division for the third year in a row by winning a total of 97 games. That was the best record not just in the NL, but in the entire big leagues, allowing Milwaukee to secure the top seed in the MLB postseason.
However, Christian Yelich and company managed to get as far as only the National League Championship Series, where they got shockingly swept by Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Dodgers, who went on to win the 2025 Fall Classic.
This offseason, the Brewers can turn their attention to bolstering their roster, while other players who are expected to keep going with Milwaukee, like Yelich, can rest up before starting their preparation for the 2026 season.
In a recent social media post on his Instagram Stories, Yelich shared a photo of his autographed Topps card.
The former National League Most Valuable Player also captioned it with a simple request: “COLLECT MY CARD.”
Yelich had a solid 2025 MLB season, though, even though he was not able to repeat as an All-Star. This past season, Yelich, who is about to turn 34 years old in December, hit .264/.343/.452 with 21 home runs and 103 RBIs through 150 games. He struggled with his bat in the 2025 MLB playoffs, but he’s still someone the Brewers can rely on to be one of the top hitters in 2026, when he’s due to earn over $24 million in salary.
