The Buffalo Bills needed to address the interior offensive line after losing David Edwards to the New Orleans Saints, with key reserve Alec Anderson sliding into the starting left guard spot. Edwards’ departure leaves Buffalo with two backup interior offensive linemen under contract, Sedrick Van Pran-Granger and Nick Broeker. Van Pran-Granger has started just two games across 217 snaps in his first two seasons, and Broeker has logged just nine snaps since 2023.
According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team, the Bills have signed Lloyd Cushenberry III to a one-year deal. The former third-round pick out of LSU has spent his first six seasons with the Denver Broncos from 2020 to 2023 and the Tennessee Titans from 2024 to 2025, starting 80 games at center. Although Cushenberry has primarily played at center in the NFL, he logged 68 snaps at left guard in college in 2017, and also played guard in high school.

The Tennessee Titans signed Lloyd Cushenberry III to a four-year, $50 million contract in March 2024. Unfortunately, his two seasons in Tennessee were marred by injuries, which kept him out of 11 of 34 games. Cushenberry missed the final nine games in 2024 with a torn Achilles and two games in 2025 due to a foot injury and later underwent offseason shoulder surgery, but should be ready for the start of next season. The Titans released him in late February.
The Bills also signed Austin Corbett to a one-year deal. The former second-round pick offers positional versatility, capable of playing every interior offensive line position, having logged 613 snaps at left guard, 625 at center, and 4,126 at right guard, with 84 starts in his first eight seasons. Corbett spent the previous four seasons with the Carolina Panthers, where he moved to center in 2024 before suffering a season-ending torn biceps. He began 2025 as the starting center before suffering an MCL sprain and later moving to right guard for the last month.
