With the Detroit Lions missing David Montgomery for the foreseeable future , they're bringing back a familiar name in Mohamed Ibrahim.
With injuries in the backfield, the #Lions are re-signing RB Mo Ibrahim to their practice squad, per his agent @mattleistt.

Ibrahim was signed as an undrafted rookie after the 2023 NFL Draft. He was a guy that I was super high on going into camp and believed could make the Lions roster as the teams third running back.
He was trending in the right direction until he suffered an injury in the Lions second preseason game. He was waived shortly after with an injury settlement. He is now back with the Lions and has as good a shot as any on the roster to get some regular season playing time at this point.
The Lions will more than likely be rolling with Jahmyr Gibbs as their lead back and Craig Reynolds backing him up. Last week Devine Ozigbo got a shot to be the Lions running back three. He was only elevated for just that game. So the spot is open. We'll see where things go.
