Panthers place OL Brady Christensen on IR, sign QB Mike White to active roster
Panthers offensive lineman Brady Christensen underwent surgery for a torn Achilles on Wednesday and was placed on injured reserve on Thursday, per team reporter Darin Gantt.

The Panthers signed Mike White to their active roster from the practice squad on Thursday with fellow quarterback Andy Dalton nursing a sore thumb. Dalton sustained his injury in a spot start last Sunday in place of Bryce Young, who did not play in that contest due to an ankle injury.
