Torino defender Schuurs makes clear his commitment

Torino defender Perr Schuurs has declared he wants to stay with the Granata.

The Holland international is recovering from an ACL injury suffered in October.

He said at a club function: "I'm much better, my knee is better.

"I like Turin a lot, as do its fans who are different from those in Holland, here they are close to us even if things go bad it's worth it.

"They ask me if I will stay at Torino after the end of the season, I really hope so."
