This offseason has been a roller coaster ride for the Iowa State Cyclones with so many ups and downs. An unexpected coaching change had to be made when Matt Campbell, after 10 years at the helm of the football program, accepted the head coach position with the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Two of Iowa State’s biggest portal losses, redshirt senior quarterback Rocco Becht and senior tight end Benjamin Brahmer, the No. 1 tight end in the portal by 247 Sports, are reportedly in play for Penn State and former Cyclones coach Matt Campbell.
