The Green Bay Packers are on a bye in Week 5 of the 2025 NFL regular season, but just because they don’t have a game over the next several games, it doesn’t mean none of them can grab football fans’ attention. Take for example Green Bay defensive back Keisean Nixon, who used to be a kick returner before converting into a full-time cornerback

On Friday, Nixon seemingly took shots at the previous wide receivers he faced over the first four weeks of the 2025 campaign.

In a series of Instagram Story posts, Nixon shared action shots of him against wide receivers George Pickens of the Dallas Cowboys, Terry McLaurin of the Washington Commanders, Jameson Williams of the Detroit Lions and Jerry Jeudy of the Cleveland Browns, who all have a cross mark on them.

In Week 1, Nixon and the Packers held Williams to only 23 receiving yards on four catches and five targets. In Week 2, McLaurin only put up 48 receiving yards on five catches and nine targets. Jeudy bled for 17 receiving yards on a reception and five catches.

Pickens, however, had a lot more success against Green Bay’s secondary than all those aforementioned wide receivers. In a 40-40-tie with the Packers, the Cowboys’ star wideout exploded for 134 receiving yards and two touchdowns on eight catches and 11 targets, numbers that are not lost on many fans amid Nixon’s posts.

From a commenter: “Idk bro Pickens had almost 30 fantasy points

and I have him but I’m a packer fan lol”

“Luckily he doesn’t have to matchup with Nacua this season,” a social media user posted.

Via a different commenter: “Didn’t Pickens have 100+ yards plus like two tds …”

Said another: “Im not sure he understands the meaning of lockdown. See GP3 stats please. And the score was 40-40”

Of coursem, there are others who still praised and showed Nixon support.

“Keisean really keeping receipts like a hit list. Cornerbacks with confidence are a different breed.,” said a fan on X.

Another one said: “He really only allowed 64 yards and a 74.0 passer rating when targeted against the Cowboys. He’s done really well this season.”
