Wild can't overcome red-hot goaltender in frustrating loss to Flames
The Wild ran into a red-hot goaltender on Thursday night in Calgary, which resulted in a frustrating 2-1 loss. Minnesota added captain Jared Spurgeon back to the lineup on Thursday, but rising forward Maxim Shabanov was a late scratch with an upper-body injury.

The Minnesota Wild announced today that captain Jared Spurgeon has been activated off of injured reserve. In a corresponding move, the Wild have reassigned defenseman Carson Lambos to their AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild.
