Excited, humble and hungry …if there is one thing I have learned about football, it’s that nobody cares what you did last year or the year before that…you earn the trust and respect of those around through your commitment every single day. I’m starting a new football journey and thankful for the @buccaneers for giving me an opportunity to do what I love to do. I look forward to meeting all my new teammates and coaches and proving to them that they can believe and trust in me…I have always believed that well done is better than well said, so I’m gonna not gonna say much more – I’m just gonna get to work! #Year1 p.s. Brady agreed to join the Buccaneers on Tuesday, but league rules due to the coronavirus epidemic prevented him from going to the team’s facilities and taking his physical. Both sides agreed to let him see a neutral doctor in New York on Thursday and the 42-year-old got the clearance he needed to make the deal official.
After 20 years with the Patriots, Brady is leaving the only organization he’s ever known for an even greater shot at winning a seventh Super Bowl. The Buccaneers are loaded with talent, with even more seemingly wanting to join them.
Fans can celebrate once more with the news now official. After years of dealing with frustrating play at quarterback and falling short of expectations, Brady could take the Buccaneers to new heights in 2020.
